This month I am delighted to share an exclusive heart-to-heart interview with Natalia Cohen, who is one of 6 of the only all female crew to have rowed across the Pacific. The team (Coxless Crew) is now world famous and has just released a documentary that has set social media on fire.

I was very lucky to get to know Natalia quite well as she has attended women in Travel events at World Travel Market and is now on the Advisory Board. In this interview she opens up about female leadership, resilience and what it takes to ‘lose sight of the shore’.

This is be done by: • Working in partnership with industry, governments and other interested parties, empower women to set up and grow their own travel and tourism business or prepare for work in the industry by undertaking projects aimed at reducing common barriers (such as access to funding) and acquiring practical skills • Supporting women and diversity initiatives within travel and tourism businesses through networks, workshop, mentoring and related activities • Providing women internationally with a platform to meet, learn from each other and feel inspired to progress their career.
