The recently formed Visit East Asia campaign will use WTM London 2016 to promote travel to Korea, Japan, and China. Following a meeting by their respective tourism ministers earlier this year, the London offices of the China, Japan, and Korea Tourism Organisations said that the three countries “will work together to jointly promote tourism both to the trade and consumer in the UK to our region and to raise awareness of the potential and benefits of combining visits to our countries.”
Its logo is an Asian knot, intended to symbolise the interlinking of the countries for the purposes of joint tourism marketing activity.
