Spain’s largest privately owned airline, Air Europa, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and the team will be out in force at WTM, led by director Colin Stewart, to update the trade on its major aircraft renewal programme.
New developments have seen seven Boeing 787 Dreamliners join the fleet since 2016 and the $3.5 billion investment in new aircraft will eventually see 22 Dreamliners delivered by 2022, bringing a superior level of passenger comfort and onboard services.
The airline will be use WTM to promote its 19 destinations in Latin America, the Caribbean and North America.
The long-haul flights operate from Madrid airport with short-haul services feeding in from all over Europe, including a twice-daily service from London Gatwick.
Agents visiting the Air Europa WTM stand will be encouraged to take the Air Europa online training course, which sees those passing the course given the chance to win prizes.
They’ll also hear about perks including special agent fares for personal travel and forthcoming fam trip opportunities.
Air Europa is a key member of the global airline alliance Skyteam and at WTM will be raising awareness of the choice and flexibility working with the 20 airline members brings, giving access to 1,057 destinations across 177 countries, providing the most convenient connections.
