A direct approach to rewards

TravelClick, the tech specialist focused on increasing revenue for hotels, has linked up with loyalty business The Guestbook, giving independent hotels the chance to offer cash back rewards to guests who book direct.

The connection is available to users of TravelClick’s iHotelier 4.0 booking engine.

One early adopter of the partnership, the Q&A Hotel in New York, saw a 25% increase in conversion rates on its brand dotcom after going live with the initiative.

Earlier this year TravelClick also launched another option for hotels to offer rewards to direct bookers, Reward and Redeem, a customizable product to encourage large group bookings.
