Madhya Pradesh Tourism will use WTM London 2018 to build on the success of its international marketing and PR campaign launched last year.
India’s “Tiger State” will launch new wildlife and adventure products including Asia’s first AdventureNEXT event, organised by the Adventure Travel Trade Association. Taking place in the capital Bhopal early December 2018, it will offer local suppliers the chance to present their products and services to international buyers and media.
Located in the heart of India, the state has nine national parks and six tiger reserves, accounting for almost 20% of India’s tiger population.
It also boasts three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the 10th century temples of Khajuraho, covered in ecstatic erotic sculpture; Buddhist monuments at Sanchi; and Paleolithic cave paintings at Bhimbetka.
