Just a Drop, the water charity launched in November 1998 by Fiona Jeffrey OBE and former WTM chairman, is celebrating its 20th anniversary at this year’s WTM London 2018.
For the first time the charity will sell Just a Drop branded and eco-friendly water bottles, produced in collaboration with Water-to-Go. Free water refills will be available from various water stations located around the fair.
The charity has helped 1.5 million people in 32 different countries with its safe water and sanitation projects in its 20-year history.
Initiatives cover rainwater harvesting systems, wells, sand dams, biosand filters, latrines, and sanitation and hygiene training. It has also branched out into food security and micro-finance programmes to support community development and economic growth.
