A new tour exploring the history of northern England is among the fresh offerings from destination management company AC Group.

Called Wall to Wall, it takes tourists from the walls of Chester – first built by the Romans – to historic sites such as the castles of Lancaster and Carlisle, and the Roman forts along Hadrian’s Wall.

Meanwhile, north of the border between England and Scotland, AG Group has new interactive experiences that range from salmon fishing to designing personalised bottles of gin using locally-grown botanicals.

In France, the company offers a growing range of accommodation, including chateaux in the Loire Valley and boutique hotels in Champagne region, and innovative experiences such as touring Paris in a Citroën 2CV and a hot air balloon ride across Provence.

Furthermore, in Ireland, new tours include a private visit to the Aran Island of Inis Meáin, (population 120); horse-riding on a beach in Connemara; and a private, evening tour of Dublin by electric bike.
