Italian specialist group travel operator, Malatesta Viaggi, shares its 40th birthday with WTM London this year.
The company was set up in 1980 to satisfy increasing demand for organised school trips.
From seven employees, the company now has a staff of over 75 and the company has 230,000 clients a year.
School trips to main European destinations are still serviced, but over the years, the operator has branched out into customised tours, such as art and culture, food and wine, religious, incentive, shopping, garden tours, pre- and post- cruises, choirs and bands, sports groups, weddings and more.
It organises over 5,000 leisure and educational group tours in 40 countries.
