WTM will see American Queen Voyages launch its first digital, trade dedicated, USA river and expedition cruising brochure, featuring four (of fourteen) itineraries, completely new for the UK and European market. The company will also be promoting its River Cruise Academy, an online training programme developed especially for the UK & European travel trade featuring four separate video-based modules.
The cruise line is famous for its fleet of iconic paddlewheel steamboats, American Queen, American Countess and American Empress, which cruise the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland and Tennessee rivers in the Deep South and through America’s Heartland, and the Snake and Columbia rivers in the Pacific Northwest.
The four new itineraries that haven’t been available to UK & European customers before will be introduced at WTM, these are cruises on the Upper Mississippi and its tributaries – the Ohio, Cumberland, Illinois and Tennessee Rivers. New is a 9-day cruise on the Upper Mississippi between St Louis and Minneapolis. Also, new are 9-day cruises through America’s Heartlands, between Memphis and Louisville; Louisville to Pittsburgh; and Nashville to St Louis.
In addition, American Queen Voyages has added new 4, 5 and 9-Day New Orleans roundtrip itineraries on the Lower Mississippi, and an 8-Days Roundtrip Portland itinerary on the Snake & Columbia rivers.
The cruise line also operates a 186-guest, new generation, environmentally friendly expedition ship, Ocean Victory, sailing Alaskan waters.
