Windmill Lane Recording Studios, the legendary studio where music legends like The Rolling Stones and U2 have crafted their hits, will be showcasing its rich legacy at the World Travel Market in London from November 5th to 7th.
Our award-winning interactive studio tours invite visitors to explore the very spaces where iconic albums were born, offering a unique glimpse into the music creation and production process.
Renowned artists who have recorded here include Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Ed Sheeran, Kate Bush, The Rolling Stones, The Cranberries, The Spice Girls, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Westlife, The Script, Hozier, and many others.
During the tours, guests will discover the fascinating history of Windmill Lane Studios, from its inception to its current status as a cornerstone of the music industry. Since U2 put it on the map in 1978, the studio has seen an ever-growing demand for its services. Housed in a stunning Art Deco building that once served as an electrical power station for Dublin’s tramline depot, Windmill Lane features three state-of-the-art recording studios.
Tours will delve into the making of some of the world’s most celebrated songs and albums. Soundtracks for films such as The Commitments, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Mission Impossible, and Riverdance were also recorded in these historic halls.
