Palma de Mallorca is increasingly becoming recognised as a year-round gastro destination thanks to its ever increasing food and drink offering. 2015 saw the opening of San Juan Gastronomic Market which opened in June in the S’Escorxador cultural centre. The city welcomed the opening of GP Café located in the heart of Palma, while the highly acclaimed Michelin star restaurant Simply Fosh in Palma Old Town opened its Art Bar, which serves as a cocktail bar and gallery showcasing works of contemporary artists.
