Tokyo is Ready to Make a Worthy Tourism Statement

Tokyo is changing and growing and The Tokyo Convention Visitors Bureau (TCVB) will hold a special seminar highlighting the many dramatic developments in the city. These include the hosting of the Rugby World Cup 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as many more exciting changes for travel in Japan’s capital city.

The TCVB will be hosting a seminar that will focus on the major new phase of development currently occurring in Tokyo, driven by these two major global sporting events as well as by the rapid growth in travel to Japan. Find out what you should know about Tokyo leading up to the Olympic Games in 2020 and what the city has learned from hosting the Rugby World Cup this year. You’ll be provided with a real insider’s view of the many changes now going on, with helpful hints and ideas for both the media and travel professionals.

Tokyo is, of course, one of the world’s most desirable tourist destinations in the world and now has even more attractions for travellers to get excited about. The seminar at WTM London 2019 will also review the highly-successful, ongoing matches of the Rugby World Cup 2019, now being played in a number of stadiums around Japan.

The host and main speaker for the seminar is Akito Tadokoro, the Director of TCVB. Helping to open the event will be UK-based Japanese comedian Yuriko Kotani. Together they will provide a broad viewpoint on the ways in which Tokyo can be the ultimate destination for global travellers.

This event is open to everyone attending the World Travel Market and the TCVB can’t wait to welcome the world to their seminar.
