Jerusalem Journey

Jerusalem Journey

Jerusalem is building on a brand-new Virgin Atlantic flight to boost visitors to the city from the UK.

The flight, which launched in September, into Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, will open up the destination to even more travellers keen to explore Jerusalem’s varied culture.

Tourists can get more for their money with a newly-launched Jerusalem City Pass, which is priced at £28, valid for seven days and includes a return transfer from the airport to Jerusalem’s Old City as well as unlimited public transportation within the city and entry discounts to popular attractions.

The continuously growing map of attractions and museums, includes the Tower of David and the Western Wall tunnels as well as activities such as the time elevator, audio-visual shows, night tours, Segway and ZUZU bicycle trips and baitmojo – a tour and tasting app at the Mahane Yehuda market.

Each card offers three free attractions included in the price of the ticket – the rest are offered at a discount price of 20%-50% below the normal rate. The card is available to purchase online or at tourist information trucks across the city.

In response to its ever-growing tourism scene, Jerusalem has invested in accommodation, including family-friendly hotels, business hotels, romantic getaways, hostels, guesthouses, and, luxurious five-star properties.

Accommodation due to open by the end of 2019 include two 50-room properties a 329-room property in the Foreign Affairs Ministry Compound.
