Result of an unprecedented survey regarding the satisfaction of customers with the industry companies is the theme at the Conference Theatre

Specialist in digital transformation presents INSC Viagens

The National Index of Consumer Satisfaction of the tourism industry (INSC Viagens) will be one of the topics covered at the fifth edition of WTM Latin America, which will take place between April 4th and 6th at the Expo Center Norte Exhibition Centre, in the city of São Paulo, at the same time as the 47th Braztoa Business Event.

The subject will be covered by the mastermind behind the study, Ricardo Pomeranz, between 1.00 and 1.30 p.m., on April 6, at the Conference Theatre, an area reserved for the education and updating of the trade, by means of a program of free lectures about the sector’s trends and relevant topics.

“WTM Latin America is expanding its partnership with the regional market contributing to the improvement and recycling of the industry professionals because we believe that developing the market also means being in alignment with the latest features, new demands and realities. Therefore, it is with great pride that we welcome Ricardo Pomeranz, a well-established professional with an international reputation, to make a valuable contribution with his knowledge and very extensive experience in the areas of relationship marketing and client relationship management”, emphasizes WTM Latin America’s director, Lawrence Reinisch.

With experience in the travel segment, Pomeranz is a specialist and consultant in digital transformation and Co-President of Rapp Brasil, the market leader in digital and relationship marketing which is part of the Omnicom Group, one of the world’s largest communication conglomerates.

The executive works to change the culture of organizations, by means of teaching, research and communication focused on the creation of a new strategic vision at companies. It was with this aim that in 2011 as a Researcher Professor at ESPM’s (the School of Higher Education in Advertising and Marketing’s) Marketing and Finance Research Centre he developed the INSC.

Last year, a new version of the consumer satisfaction study was launched that was totally focused on tourism – INSC Viagens –, which analyses the evaluation of the users in relation to hotels, airlines, vehicle rental companies, loyalty programs and travel agencies (both brick-and-mortar as well as online ones).

At present, the National Index of Consumer Satisfaction is the only Brazilian indicator with data obtained exclusively via the internet and which measures, on a monthly basis, what the consumers think of the products and services of 92 companies spread across 23 sectors of the economy.

“Taking part in WTM Latin America is an opportunity to present the figures from the latest consumer satisfaction in relation to this industry, to analyse the impact of this evaluation on the organizations and to indicate directions for improving performance”, explains Ricardo Pomeranz.
