Both announce a partnership for the second year running, taking new quality content to the event’s next edition
WTM Latin America is the leading global event for the Latin American travel industry and a little more than six months before the next edition of the event everything is moving ahead at full steam. On the agenda for this year’s “Leadership Meetings” was a meeting between management and the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), which took place on Wednesday.
Luciane Leite, director of WTM Latin America, welcomed Wellington Costa, regional director of GBTA Brasil, in the company’s office in São Paulo, to renew another successful partnership for the second consecutive year and to discuss opportunities for the 7th edition of the event, which is planned for April 2019.
As players with global penetration and a strong corporate focus, the partnership between WTM Latin America and GBTA emphasizes the quality content that is provided in the Corporate Travel Area by way of three exclusive panels dedicated to the travel industry and corporate events that are given by the association on the second day of the show (3/04). With this partnership, the association makes the Corporate Tourism Programme stronger; it has been gaining in prominence over the editions, along with other industry partners in this segment.
“The permanent exchange of opportunities and strategies with our partners is a way of accompanying the needs and projections of stakeholders. Partnerships like this one with GBTA allow us to strengthen and expand the content and qualified themes in the event,” Luciane comments.
“We had a lot of success in the last edition of WTM Latin America and extending this union to the next event allows us to introduce new formats that add value to the tourism and corporate travel sector,” stresses Wellington Costa, who adds that it is the intention to bring about 50 travel managers again to the 7th edition of the event and provide participants with a contextualized programme.
WTM Latin America is scheduled to take place in São Paulo between April 2-4, 2019, at Expo Center Norte.
