WTM Latin America announces the launch of the Travel Tech Pavillion

Technology companies operating in the travel sector that never took part in the event will have access to a differentiated area and special conditions for the 2018 edition

The interactivity and engagement created by technology have become increasingly essential for broadening the objectives of those who offer travel services and/or products and for those that are looking for new alternatives. Attractive solutions commonly  emerge in this scenario that deliver a more robust and global connectivity, thus stimulating integration along the chain that encourages the generation of supply and demand.

Adopting this broader view in its search for what’s new in the market and for the opportunity to expand business generation, WTM Latin America announces the launch of the Travel Tech Pavillion, an area that is unprecedented within the already existing Travel Tech Show event. This will expand small and medium-sized companies’ access to technology as applied to tourism and enable them to include the tools available in their existing business.

The Travel Tech Show has been taking place within WTM Latin America since 2014, bringing the leading brands in the industry to professionals and presenting products and services to visitors and exhibitors alike. The purpose of the Travel Tech Pavillion is to add value and serve a real and latent need that exists in the current tourism market, which seeks options and a variety of technological solutions for the various business models that exist in the travel and tourism industry.

Companies that exhibit in the Travel Tech Pavillion will have all the rights and benefits that are guaranteed to other WTM Latin America exhibitors. In addition to the space that is already equipped to receive new exhibitors, the stand will have an illuminated back-lit panel, where their brand can be exhibited, and an entry in the official catalogue that is delivered to all participants at the event.

New exhibitors will also have access to the My Event platform, which will enable them to promote their products and services by sending targeted messages. They will also be able to pre-arrange meetings – and have access to the Speed Networking agendas – which bring together more than 500 exhibitors and up to 100 buyers for five-minute meetings.

Generations that bring us new ways of consuming – with their continuous change in habits given the destinations that are on offer – demand the development of new technologies for promoting destinations and products. “We’re conscious of the challenges faced by small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, just as we know how important they are in the machinery of tourism. Startups confirm that we need to look carefully at this new market that does not yet have the resources to invest, but that has good solutions,” says Luciane Leite, the director of WTM Latin America. The new area is part of the Travel Tech Show, which has already been a feature of the event in recent editions.

Companies that are interested in exhibiting in this area should contact Claudia Delfino, sales executive of WTM Latin America by email: claudia.delfino@reedexpo.com.br or by telephone +55 11 3060-4995.
