WTM Latin America open registration for Digital Influencers’ Speed Networking Session

WTM Latin America is calling on digital influencers to apply for its popular Digital Influencers’ Speed Networking Session – Deadline is 23rd February

WTM Latin America 2018, the world’s number one event for the Latin American travel industry, which occurs between April 3rd – 5th at Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo – Brazil, invites all digital influencers to apply for its Digital Influencers’ Speed ​​Networking Session, that takes place on Wednesday April 4th, from 4pm to 5pm at the Networking Area and will receive 30 professionals.

The session, formerly called “Meet The Media & Bloggers”, is another opportunity to put digital influencers in contact with WTM Latin America’s exhibitors in a dynamic, efficient and objective way. In five-minute mini-meetings, influencers will be seated at tables and the exhibitors will go to them in accordance with each one’s interest profiles.

“This is another business opportunity that we are offering our customers and one more way to get an excellent return on the investment by taking part at the event,” says Thais Del Ben, WTM Latin America Marketing manager.

“The number of digital influencers has soared over the last few years, particularly in the travel industry, where consumers turn to blogs, videos and articles to decide their trips. The presence of influencers at the event has also registered a marked increase, and the encounters in the Speed ​​Networking session boost the long-term relationship between the market’s players, the visibility of the brands and the realisation of large future business deals” says Thais.

In order to apply for the session, digital influencers need to register as members of the media on the website (https://latinamerica.wtm.com/en/visit/Register/). Once approved, the influencer should indicate interest in taking part in the Speed ​​Networking session by sending an e-mail to lara@mapacomunicacao.com.br. 30 influencers will be selected by WTM Latin America’s Sao Paulo and London Marketing and PR teams, in addition to institutional support from the Brazilian Association of Travel Blogs (ABBV).

Participation will be open to those professionals whose main activity is focused on digital media channels, including Blogs, Vlogs, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms. The criteria for selection includes interaction, comprehensiveness, editorial quality, regularity in terms of updates and specialization in the areas of adventure, behaviour, family, responsible tourism, +50, luxury, gastronomy, fashion, individual tourism, economic tourism and LGBT – all the sectors should be linked to tourism.

Registration will be accepted until February 23rd and the list of those who have confirmed will be presented on the 27th of the same month.
