Agents on the Road Program is confirmed for the 9th edition of Virtual WTM Latin America

A success in previous events, this action allows travel agents to continue creating connections with market players, especially Brazilian tour operators

São Paulo, June 29th 2021 – In its 9th edition, WTM Latin America, which will take place virtually on August 10th, 11th, and 12th, holds the “Agents on the Road” program. The action, which has been held traditionally for years at the event, was developed to expand the relationship between travel agents and operators, offering the possibility of greater interaction between these audiences. The curatorship is done by Interamerican Network and those interested should contact the team by e-mail wtm@interamericanetwork.com.

According to Thaís Del Ben, Marketing Manager for WTM Latin America, the program should continue to facilitate contact between the two groups. “Since we launched Agents on the Road, we have achieved excellent results, annually bringing together more than 700 qualified agents who visit the event to generate new deals, increase networking and knowledge about the industry. This year, with the world moving towards a recovery of the tourism sector, we believe that the action will have even more relevance within WTM Latin America and will make the exchange of contacts and experiences among the participants work as a gear for the coming months,” she explains.

Dynamics

With the event in the virtual model, the platform will be the main relationship channel between the parties. As in other editions, the agents participating in the program will have an agenda of commitments and mandatory meetings to be fulfilled, mainly with Brazilian tour operators. Also, travel agents will receive training from exhibiting destinations at the event.

Travel agents who fulfill their responsibilities will be given preference in the program’s participation at the physical event in 2022.

Interamerican Network’s president and CEO, Danielle Roman, points out that the number of openings for the Agents on the Road Program has not changed. “We kept the 700 vacancies available so that professionals from all Brazilian states have the opportunity to be with us in this event that will mark the industry’s recovery at a national and international level”, she explains.

Those interested should contact the Interamerican Network team through the e-mail wtm@interamericanetwork.com as soon as possible, since places are limited.
