Omnibees launches a training and development program at WTM Latin America 2018

Sponsor of the event’s content, the company will present content that is focused on the transformation and evolution of the Latin American tourism and hotel industry

Omnibees, a hotel distribution and marketing company, will be taking part in WTM Latin America 2018 as a content sponsor, as well as being one of the exhibitors of the event, which is now in its 6th edition and will take place in the city of São Paulo, between April 3rd and April 5th, at Expo Center Norte.

During the event, the partnership will launch the Omnibees Academy, a program that focuses on the training and development of tourism professionals and covers a variety of topics, including:

  • the current challenges that technology imposes and how companies are reinventing themselves
  • how to optimize the performance of distribution and connectivity tools and generate more profit, less costs, and increased sales
  • the fundamental pillars of the science of Revenue Management that enables us to increase hotel revenue

“At Omnibees, it is our assessment that WTM Latin America is the continent’s main event in the annual exhibitions calendar, and that it offers excellent opportunities for meetings and doing business with the entire regional trade”, points out Luis Ferrinho, Omnibees’ CEO.

“This year we are taking an important step. We have decided to expand the scope of our partnership, not only by taking part with our own stand, but also because we believe that the way you strengthen an industry is by doing business and by training and transforming the professionals who work in the sector”, concludes Ferrinho.

According to Ferrinho, the Omnibees Academy will be WTM Latin America 2018’s vertical content sponsor and is truly committed to promoting the transformation by means of education and professional inspiration, in order to enhance the development of the Latin American tourism and hospitality industry.

The conference schedule starts on the first day of the event, April 3rd, with a talk by Omnibees’ Global COO, Paulo Salvador, from 5.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Entitled “The Future has already arrived, but has not yet been distributed,” the presentation will be made at the Inspire Theatre and will address the current challenges that technology imposes on all those working in the tourism industry. In addition, it will highlight how companies are reinventing the way to gain and retain customers by means of successful strategies of convergence between the physical world and the digital world.

On April 4th, from 3.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m., Melanie Teixeira, Omnibees’ partner and director will give a workshop on “Success stories for high performance”, with the aim of presenting success stories in Brazil and in Latin America of those who are making a difference in the market.

Also on April 4th, from 1.45 p.m. to 2.15 p.m., the Travel Tech Theatre will be the stage for the presentation by Dolores Piñeiro, managing director and coach at the Oficina de Revenue. Under the theme “Everything You Would Like to Know about Revenue Management but Never Had the Guts to Ask,” the executive will cover the fundamental pillars of the science of Revenue Management, with the effective application of actions that make it possible to boost hotels’ revenues.

To supplement the programme, on May 5th, from 1.45 p.m. to 2.15 p.m., at the Travel Tech Theatre, the conference “5 Steps to increase your Hotel’s profitability” will be given by the Omnibees business manager Rodolfo Delphorno. The topics comes alive when the executive stresses how digital tools and intelligence can help Hotels with the daily task of improving their results and increasing the profitability of their business.

“At every edition we try to present topics that contribute to the development of tourism professionals. The partnership with Omnibees strengthens the content that will be presented this year even further and, without a doubt, the participants will go away better prepared to face the challenges of the current market” declares Thais Del Ben, WTM Latin America’s marketing manager.
