Registration is opened for WTM Latin America 2018

World Travel Market Latin America 2017, Sao Paulo, Brazil -

WTM Latin America 2018 opens registration for its 6th edition, which will take place in São Paulo between April 3rd and April 5th, at Expo Center Norte. The main global event for Latin America’s travel industry inaugurates the sector’s agenda and brings 600 exhibitors to the State of São Paulo’s capital city, representing 50 countries and roughly 10 thousand travel industry professionals from Latin America and the rest of the world.

The event already has a number of foreign exhibitors who have confirmed their presence at this edition, such as the American hotel chains Best Western Hotels & Resorts and AMResorts, the Spanish chain IBEROSTAR Hotel & Resorts as well as the tour operators Iran Doostan and Restel, along with the Brazilian tour operators Newmon and Tourmed. In addition, the car rental companies Avis and Europcar, and the Emirates airline will also have their own stands at the event.

Some of the destinations that have already been confirmed for this edition, which will be in the spotlight with their private sector partners are the United States, Chile, Argentina, Peru, El Salvador, Panama, Bahamas, Egypt, Palestine and Thailand, among others.

At this edition, WTM Latin America will repeat successful activations that were seen at the last edition and presents new developments for exhibitors and visitors. Included among these are the Travel Tech Pavilion, an area that increases the access and inclusion of small and medium-sized companies that apply technology to tourism and the Destination Pavilion, an area that will give private companies from destinations that are not represented at the event a chance to be part of the event. The same goes for the Accommodation Lounge, which gains an exclusive area earmarked for independent hotels.

As for some of the successful initiatives at the last edition, WTM Latin America returns with the Inspire Theatre (the former Conference Theatre) along with a series of presentations and debates about the travel industry, with a diverse agenda that is rich in terms of content and speakers. Industry experts will discuss news, new developments and innovations in the segment, as well as encouraging an in-depth reflection in relation to the industry’s current issues. The topic Responsible Tourism will be included in the agenda, along with innovations in the technological field with names that are well-known in the market.

WTM Latin America’s identity is also reinforced by the Speed Networking Sessions, a successful event that facilitates contact between buyers and exhibitors at the event in a short space of time, and by the WTM Buyers’ Club, a business club for senior travel industry executives.

Service: For those who are interested, registration should be made by means of the website itself: https://latinamerica.wtm.com/en/visit/Register/
