WTM Latin America announces new exhibitors

In its tenth edition, the event celebrates 10 years and expects to gather 600 exhibitors, a 10% growth over the previous edition

Bringing the world to Latin America and promoting Latin America to the world. WTM Latin America’s assumption will be fully met in the 2023 edition, the year in which it celebrates a decade of success. Organization highlights the arrival of new exhibitors from Brazil and from different parts of the world that will be at Expo Center Norte between April 3 and 5.

Tourist destinations, tour operators, incoming tourism companies, aviation companies, hotel chains, and independent hospitality enterprises confirm its spaces in the event’s plant to increase networking and expand business in Brazil and Latin America. One of the firsts is JetSmart, Chilean lowcost that will take advantage of the presence of a qualified audience to make an event the inaugural flight of the new route between São Paulo and Santiago, which leaves on April 3, from the International Airport of São Paulo, GRU Airport. Azul Linhas Aéreas is participating for the first time with its own stand to reinforce the capillarity of its route map and highlight the new international flights.

Among the destinations, the firsts come from different parts of Brazil and the world. Starting with Sarajevo, in Eastern Europe. The biggest city, political and financial center of Bosnia and Herzegovina will highlight its attractions to inform the trade about its offer and do business with Latin American buyers. Hidalgo will participate in the exhibition area showing the mix of natural activities and historical-cultural tours promoted in the Mexican state that has been attracting the attention of travelers.

Another highlight is the participation of Comissão Vitivinícola da Região de Lisboa – CVR Lisboa, an association that controls the origin and promotes the wine products of the Portuguese capital. In the national territory, WTM Latin America confirms the unprecedented participation of Manaus (AM), Aracaju and Sergipe (state and capital participate for the first time), Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Caucaia (CE), Paraty and Angra dos Reis (RJ). Sebrae São Paulo will have a stand to highlight the tools and services aimed at micro and small entrepreneurs in the travel and tourism industry.

The news are also in the technology area, a space that has been growing year by year in the offer of solutions to support the businesses within the travel and tourism industry. So far, three major players have confirmed their presence. The Brazilian company Infotera will take to the event its Infotravel reservation system, a tool aimed at operators, hotel chains, and receptive groups.  Headquartered in Mato Grosso do Sul, Beeteller will highlight payment solutions for companies from all over the world that want to connect to Latin American consumers. From Israel, the software developer Hotelmize will also have a space to show its services focused on Big Data to visitors.

Tour Operators and Incoming Tourism Companies

WTM Latin America confirms three novelties among the players that operate in the hospitality industry: Atlantica Hotels will reinforce its portfolio of own and international brands that total 170 properties and 28 thousand rooms in the main capital cities and tourist destinations in Brazil. RCD Hotels arrives with the same goal: to promote its luxury hotels in the United States, Mexico and the Domincan Republic to Latin American operators. In Ibiúna, countryside of São Paulo, Morros Verdes Farm will show to buyers and other interested parties the leisure and comfort offer in its 300 hectares of land.

Tour operators, agencies and receptive companies represent a good part of the newcomers in the program. Besides the more than 20 operators that were already confirmed, the organization announces the arrival of two major players: Agaxtur and Incomum Viagens will have its own spaces to advertise products and services at the event. Other expected firsts are Easy Travel Shop, a Brazilian platform specialized in selling tours and experiences in different destinations, and Enjoy Travel, a global company focused on car rental in different destinations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Among the agencies established in Brazil, WTM confirms the participation of Nomada Viagens e Turismo (São Paulo/SP), Mundo Tour (Brasília/DF) and Conquest Voyages. The latter works in a personalized way with itineraries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, with a department dedicated to sports tourism.  From abroad, agencies and receptive companies from Germany (Appina Travel), Greece (Hellenic Travel Network), Portugal (Top Atlantico and ExpressWay), Egypt (Golden Nile Travel) and Turkey (Crystal Concepts) have already confirmed its participation.
