The WTM London United Kingdom and Ireland Region plays host to almost 58,000 on-stand meetings from almost 16,500 industry professionals interested in the region.
The UK&I region at WTM London 2017 saw a total of 57,650 on-stand meetings take place, meaning each of the 192 exhibitors had an average of almost 300 on-stand meetings.
Of the 10,500 buyers from the WTM Buyers’ Club attended WTM London, 3,422 were looking to purchase British and Ireland product.
WTM London 2018 will see the introduction of Regional Inspiration Zones. These Regional Inspiration Zones will be the centre point of the regions and will act as an ideas hotbed for debate, research and analysis of each region’s tourism industry.
The Regional Inspiration Zone will host content sessions, networking events, festivals. One session already confirmed on the UK&I Inspiration Zone is research by Mintel on the UK&I market.
In total, WTM London 2017 hosted 935,129 on-stand meetings, helping the event generate more than £3.1 billion in industry deals.

The UK is seeing overseas visitor numbers continually increase, with almost 40 million visits in 2017 – up by 6% on 2016.
