The World Travel Market (WTM) portfolio, which includes five leading B2B events on four continents, has had a makeover. Starting this year, the WTM London, Arabian Travel Market, WTM Latin America and WTM Africa editions will feature a new logo, which will be lighter and more modern. According to the marketing manager of WTM Latin America, Thais Del Ben “the WTM brand is very well known and well established in the world market. We are already seen as a platform that connects people around the world, but we must not stop there. We want the WTM brand to represent the future, by shaping and accompanying the needs of the travel industry.”

Alongside the new brand, the WTM portfolio will also soon launch a new concept that shows what WTM represents to the tourism industry and that reflects new trends and uses technologies. “The intention of this new concept is that WTM reinforces the position it has adopted of doing more than organizing events. In other words, we`re going to underline the fact that we offer quality content and encourage professionals to embrace technology and make the best of it for promoting a more sustainable future for tourism”, adds the executive, who has been looking after every detail of the Latin American version since its first edition in 2013

To distinguish one event from another, each edition has a colour that will run through the whole of its visual identity. London, for example, will feature details in shades of pink; the Middle East, dark green; Latin America will be represented by green; and Africa will be identified in shades of yellow. The name “World Travel Market” will be replaced by the abbreviation WTM. The agency responsible for modernizing and creating the new concept was Dragon Rouge, London.

WTM Latin America 2018 will be held between 3 – 5 April 2018 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo. Other information can be found at latinamerica.wtm.com
