From spice tours to cooking sessions with their resident Chef, Jamaica Inn Resort has embraced Facebook live videos as a way to stay connected with their guests. Their sessions take place daily and allow their community of 15,900+ followers the opportunity to experience various aspects of island life from the comfort of their own homes.
One live music session took place on a balcony and featured steel drums. The 27 minute long clip has been viewed 3,000+ times and fans of the resort have flooded the comments section, praising the resort for providing some authentic Jamaican entertainment during the crisis.
During another session Chef Foster cooked Ackee and Salt Fish, the Jamaican National Dish, in a 12 minute video that was viewed over 800 times. Jamaica Inn Resort are offering cooking sessions every Friday at 3pm GBT, giving Caribbean culture lovers the opportunity to experience the culinary delights of the island from wherever they are located across the globe.
Other sessions on offer include virtual tours of their favourite suites where viewers can learn more about the history of the Inn, painting classes from the beach, Healing Hips Yoga sessions and health and wellness secrets from their spa.
