Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts 2019
Summer isn’t summer in Cape Town without the live sunset concerts on the rolling lawns of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Gather your picnic baskets, friends, and family, and enjoy the best music South Africa has to offer in the shade of Table Mountain. This month’s highlights include The Soil, Fokofpolisiekar, The Cape Town Folk ‘n Acoustic Music Festival, and The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra

The Sanlam Cape Mile is celebrating its 5th anniversary and is known to be Western Cape’s premier open water swim. Choose from two distances: 1 mile (1.6km) or a refreshing 500m swim.
The theme for this year is “I am Me. No Excuses. No Regrets.” CT Pride is partnering up with Cape Town Carnival who will be lending some of their costumes to add an extra dose of fabulous to the parade. The festival includes a variety of events such as drag shows, book launches, sporting events, film shows, poetry reading, and art exhibitions. The parade takes place on Saturday 2 March.
