There’s no end to the news about this year’s WTM Latin America. The main tourism event for the B2B segment in Latin America has announced an expansion of the content for the Corporate Travel & MICE area, this time in partnership with HSMAI Brasil. The speakers on the third day of the event will deal with topics such as digital marketing, supplier management, pricing and distribution. Gabriela Otto is responsible for curating the area.
Fernão Loureiro, the director of Loureiro Consultores and Corporate Head of HSMAI Brasil, will open the agenda with his conference entitled “How digital marketing techniques can help your travel management internally”. Then David Pressler, Sales and Marketing Director for IHG Latam and Head of Sales for HSMAI Brasil, will talk about “The Management and Pricing of Corporate Agreements”.
Gabriela Otto, CEO of GO Consultoria and the President of HSMAI Brasil will talk on the subject of “Revenue Management and Distribution as applied to Events”, and in closing the day’s agenda, Roberta Nonis, CEO of Evento Único, will share the stage with Luciana Vicente, the SRM project leader at AstraZeneca do Brasil to talk about “Supplier Management”.
WTM Latin America’s director, Luciane Leite, has commented on the quality of the content being arranged for the corporate arena. “The industry asked us to arrange to have a Corporate Travel & MICE area at our event and based on the wishes of exhibitors and visitors we created this area, which has been growing with every edition and has featured speakers and topics that are relevant to the corporate segment. Having HSMAI Brasil at our event will help form professionals who are better trained and more qualified for the market”, she points out.
HSMAI is an international not-for-profit association that helps develop professionals and executives in the tourism and hospitality industry for working in the procurement, sales and marketing areas.
Gabriela Otto stresses that WTM Latin America is an important channel for exchanging knowledge. “The content we present in a practical way deals with matters that are found in the daily lives of professionals who work in the travel and corporate events market. We value the exchange that occurs between buyers and suppliers and focus on good marketing practices and the quality of the relationships. This training window allows for a lively and rich exchange of information and knowledge between HSMAI Brasil and those taking part in the content presented”, concludes the curator.
