Executive Luciane Leite underlines the importance of networking and benchmarking for strengthening the travel market
WTM Latin America director Luciane Leite and executives Bianca Pizzolito, sales manager and Claudia Delfino, sales coordinator of the event, were in Argentina and followed the agenda “Encounters of Leadership”, which aims to create contacts with the tourism industry and promote opportunities within the travel and tourism sector. This time the meeting place was Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the WTM Latin America team talked with several partners, among them Heber Garrido, director of marketing and sales experience at Grupo Rio Quente, and executives Luis Maio, director of Tourism Promotion of Ilha Bela and Marcos Cará, commercial director of Maremar Turismo.
According to Luciane, this moment of networking has enriched, more and more, the construction of news for WTM Latin America. “It is important to have an up-to-date team with trends and news worldwide on the events of the tourism segment. This exchange of experiences, and especially the exercise of listening to the needs and suggestions of our partners and prospects, provides us with a broad vision of what we can build together for the next edition of WTM Latin America. ”
Recently the executive went to Paris to check out the news and solutions presented at IFTM Top Resa, an event promoted by Reed Exhibitions, and was with Laurent Queige, COO, of the City Lab, an innovation platform dedicated to urban tourism, where she got to know the world better of start-ups, and how it is possible to capitalize on ideas and innovations based on their actions.
“Our challenge is to innovate, create and adapt the best practices and ideas we observe. We are constantly seeking to produce and offer an event full of qualified and relevant content”, concludes Luciane.
