WTM Latin America will have Speed Networking Sessions on all three days of the event

The aim of the five sessions is to help generate business and facilitate networking

WTM Latin America, the world’s leading event for the travel industry in Latin America, will host five Speed Networking sessions between 3 and 5 April, 2018, during its 6th edition, which will be held at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.

With their aim of helping generate business and facilitate networking between exhibitors, buyers and digital influencers, the sessions will take place in the Networking and Corporate Travel Areas. The sessions’ 5-minute meetings will give buyers the opportunity to get to know the main destinations and tour operators present at the event, while exhibitors will have the opportunity of meeting the most hotly-contested digital influencers in Latin America.

On the first day of the event, Tuesday (3), from 14:00 until 15:00 p.m., the first session, to be held in the Corporate Travel Area, will involve corporate travel managers from the TMG (Travel Managers Group) and exhibitors. With tables that will be identified with the name of the companies, more than 25 corporate travel managers will receive exhibitors in meetings lasting 5 minutes, when business cards can be exchanged and business interests and future partnerships discussed.

On the same day, from 16:00 until 17:00, the Embratur hosted buyers session will be held in the Networking Area and will feature exclusively Brazilian exhibitors and buyers that will be selected by EMBRATUR.

On the second day of WTM Latin America, Wednesday (4), the first Speed Networking session will be held from 10:30 until 12:00 in the Networking Area and will have as many as 100 buyers, among them hosted buyers and WTM Buyers’ Club members who will be ready and eager to welcome all the WTM Latin America exhibitors.

The Digital Influencers’ Speed Networking session will be held in the same area from 16:00 until 17:00. This will involve 30 digital influencers and the objective will be to promote exhibitor destinations and products to their millions of followers. The session is yet another opportunity to put digital influencers and exhibitors in touch with each other in a dynamic, efficient and objective manner.

On the last day of the event, Thursday (5), the Speed Networking meetings will be held in the morning, from 10:30 until 12:00, also in the Networking Area.

According to Thais Del Ben, Marketing Manager of WTM Latin America, “Speed Networking sessions are always incredibly well-received. In 2013 when we launched WTM Latin America, we organized a single session between hosted buyers and exhibitors, and today we’ll be offering 5 sessions with buyers, managers and digital influencers. That’s fantastic.”

“The reason for the success of these sessions, in addition to their efficiency and focus on results, is that they require very detailed organization, with buyers and influencers hand-picked and an almost flawless execution”, adds Thais Del Ben.
