SOUKYA International Holistic Health Centre, is the first healing centre of its kind in the world where it judiciously combines different traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Yoga and over 30 other Complementary Therapies like Acupuncture, Reflexology, Acupressure to enhance the overall wellbeing. Our emphasis is on early intervention, treatment of illness and health promotion.

Location:

The exclusive residential facility is nestled on a 30 acre certified organic farm on the outskirts of Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka in South India with lush, serene grounds, exotic flowers, over 3000 trees, organic vegetable gardens, fruit orchards and over a 100 species of birds. The tranquil sanctuary has the best climatic conditions throughout the year and is less than an hour away from the International Airport and 21 km from Bangalore city centre.

Holistic & Integrative Approach:

SOUKYA follows Holistic approach with which it views the person as a whole – mind, body and spirit taking into account one’s psychological, nutritional, lifestyle, environmental and spiritual aspects of each person. All these aspects are interdependent. A disturbance in one of these affects the others and an imbalance can result in ill health and disease. The philosophy is that the body has an innate ability to heal itself which works when everything is in balance. Hence SOUKYA’s USP is Holistic approach and Integrative Medicine wherein treatments are customised for each person keeping in mind their lifestyle and habits.

Rooms:

There are 25 spacious rooms to choose starting from Deluxe rooms to 3 bedroom Presidential Suites. All the rooms have private gardens to provide the comfort of space.

Regimen at SOUYA:

Each guest goes through a detailed evaluation by the expert team of doctors and based on that an individualised treatment protocol is designed to restore the body’s natural balance and create a harmonious state of wellness. Custom made oils and medicines are prepared in-house under the supervision of Ayurvedic doctors for which around 80% of the medicinal herbs are grown in the organic garden.

Twice in a day the Therapeutic Yoga sessions are taught by our qualified Naturopathic doctors. The doctors spend a lot of time educating, training and providing guests with a beneficial experience so that they will be motivated to continue that back home. For many it has been a life changing experience from a life of imbalance to a life in balance.

Food:

The ovo-vegetarian sathwic food which is freshly prepared and organic is sublime with fruits, vegetables, spices and herbs picked from the organic garden based on the principles of low salt, low spice and low fat.

Other Features:

Our recreational amenities include a 2 km Walking Track, Swimming pool, Library, shuttle court and other indoor games. Cooking Demonstrations, Doctors Talk on Health & Wellness, Medicinal garden tour by our Ayurvedic doctor, Bird watching, Moon Meditation and Classical Cultural Programmes enhances the Wellness experience. One can experience a holistic way of living with our eco-friendly practices like solar power, solar water heating, rainwater harvesting, organic and vermicomposting and pest control.
