Disney Park staff are keeping the magic alive

Usually busy and teeming with people, the Disney parks have sadly been closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak and thousands of people have had to cancel their much-anticipated holidays. While this is a huge disappointment to many, their staff and cast members are finding heart-warming ways to keep the magic alive during this challenging time. We’ve put together a few of our favourite #DisneyMagicMoments.

Members of the Aulani resort have performed a special #HulaFromHome, a video compilation of office staff and cast members dancing the Aulani Hula from their homes. While the parks remain closed, the #HulaFromHome is a great way to spread joy and positivity to children and families all over the world. Why not try the lively dance yourself and feel the Disney magic?

Meanwhile in Disneyland Paris, the spectacular ‘Disney Illuminations Firework Show’ has been viewed by thousands of people across the globe – all from the comfort of their homes. The enchanting twenty minute fireworks performance has been specially recorded for fans to get a front row seat and experience a touch of Disney during this challenging time.

Finally, May the 4th brought with it a virtual ‘Ride and Learn’  from Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park in California. This immersive video experience allows Star Wars fans to enjoy the ride and learn some impressive facts about the awesome attraction – they can even try out the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge filter on Snapchat.
