ETOA, the European tourism association will reveal further details of an EU-funded project to promote the region as a tourist destination to some of the world’s most important outbound travel markets.
The project, named Partnerships in European Tourism, officially kicked off on July 14, with the launch of a tailor-made portal www.eutravelpartnerships.org for European companies and operators wishing to expand their business into the Chinese and US markets.
This project is being funded by the European Commission and delivered by a consortium led by of ETOA, in conjunction with the European Travel Commission and European Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ECTAA).
The programme will see a series of eight conferences and business-to-business matchmaking events taking place within the EU and in the target markets of China and the US.
The events will take place in 2018 and 2019 and further details will be announced soon.
