All-Inclusive By Marriott Bonvoy Embraces Strong Demand for All-Inclusive Concept With Exciting Growth Plans For 2023 – 2025

Embracing the strong demand for all-inclusive holidays, All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s all-inclusive platform, has an exciting pipeline of renovations, openings and new build projects across the Caribbean and Latin America to be unveiled over the next two years.

Launched in 2019 with an aim to elevate the all-inclusive concept and bring unparalleled experiences to their 180+ million Marriott Bonvoy members, the portfolio currently encompasses 31 properties across the Caribbean and Latin America.

The first to launch next year will be Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort, which will re-open as an all-inclusive in early 2024 as the world’s first Marriott branded all-inclusive resort. Previously Marriott Cancun, the iconic hotel has been Marriott International’s legacy property in the Yucatan Peninsula for several decades. As well as a core facilities make-over, the re-opening will unveil new restaurants, an enhanced kids club, and new room features.

In addition, the Elegant Hotels portfolio – seven stunning properties in Barbados, owned and operated by Marriott International – is undergoing a series of renovations ahead of their assimilation into several of Marriott’s luxury and premium brands, with re-openings and rebranding to take place across 2024 and 2025. The properties include adults-only The House and Treasure Beach, wellness-focused Waves Hotel & Spa, and charming Tamarind which are set to join the Autograph Collection. Family-friendly all-inclusives Turtle Beach and Crystal Cove will join the Tribute Portfolio. (Colony Club will join The Luxury Collection.)

The luxury segment is also a key focus for Marriott, with the brand poised to open three all-inclusive luxury resorts in Mexico amongst its renowned luxury-level brands with international developer, AB Living Group (AB Living):

  • Almare, a Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort, Isla Mujeres, a partial new-build opening in Q2 2024 as the brand’s second all-inclusive Luxury Collection property, with elevated amenities such as private transportation to the island
  • JW Marriott All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres, a new build opening in 2025, which will be the first JW Marriott-branded all-inclusive property in one of the most exclusive areas of Cancun
  • W All-Inclusive Costa Mujeres, a new build opening in 2025, which will be the second W-branded all-inclusive property in the region, offering a modern and bold luxury service and a vibrant, adults-only ambiance characteristic of W Hotels

In addition, The W All-Inclusive Punta Cana will mark the debut of the W brand into the all-inclusive space. Slated to open in late 2024, the adults-only new build resort will feature 349 rooms with balconies and plunge pools, as well as dynamic programming.

Two further openings in Brazil are slated for late 2025, which will join the existing Westin in Porto de Galinhas in the region. These new build properties will be in the Maricá region, in the Rio de Janeiro area – a new destination for the brand. The JW Marriott All-Inclusive will expand the portfolio’s all-inclusive luxury offerings within South America, and a themed hotel inspired by the country’s most popular music festival, the Rock in Rio, will join as part of the Autograph Collection.
