Saffron Travel, which describes itself as “an energetic, fast growing and passionate agency inspired by the tastes, colours and cultural heritage of South East Asia,” will be highlighting a new range of tours and other developments at WTM London.
The specialist, which has an in-depth knowledge of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, is a reliable and professional partner providing vivid and authentic experiences for visitors to the region to enjoy fantastic experiences; from the sensorial cultures of ethnic minority groups, to the stunning landscapes of the World Heritage Sites.
Marketing executive Nguyen Trang Dai says: “Visitors experience wonderfully memorable interactions with local cultures, people and we always make sure that we stay up to date with the very latest accommodation options to make sure your customers will have the best possible travel experience with us.”
New tours and experiences have recently been added, including cookery classes in Saigon with Australian chef Luke Nguyen; quirky studio homestays and traditional Lao Myths, Legends and Folklands performance in a cosy 25-seat theatre in Laos.
In addition, new airlift to the region is boosting demand. A five-times-a-week direct, two hour, 15 minute flight from Ho Chi Minh city to Yangon with Viet Jet starts in October 2015, providing an alternative to Vietnam Airlines for passengers travelling between Vietnam and Myanmar.
Meanwhile, Jetstar began operating three direct flights per week from Danang to Singapore in August on a 180-seat Airbus A320.
Dai adds: “We are eager to collaborate with the right partners who we will be keen to meet at WTM London 2015.”
Finally, Saffron Travel has appointed Red Sky Marketing to be its UK representative. Red Sky director Julian Lancaster will be at WTM to discuss opportunities.
