Press Conference: Jamaica on the luxury list for 2021

Jamaica to receive a 300% increase in Club Class and Upper Class seats out of London with expanded luxury resort offering

Jamaica is the premier holiday choice for luxury travellers in 2021, and both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic see the potential in the destination launching new service to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Heathrow, respectively. This will result in an increase of 300% in Club Class and Upper Class seats to the island per week and will offer travellers more flexibility on their travel dates and departure airport from the UK. Montego Bay Airport also has a private air terminal for private jets for those that want to travel in luxury.

Whilst beautiful beaches and sparkling Caribbean Sea as the perfect backdrop to a luxurious retreat, seclusion and privacy is now more important than ever and Jamaica’s exceptional luxury resort offerings truly set the destination apart. With new accommodations and extended refurbishments now complete at some of the destination’s most sought-after resorts, travellers will be able to unwind with indulgent spa treatments, private beach dining options and private limousine or helicopter transfers.

Eclipse at Half Moon

Nestled between the rolling hills of Montego Bay and the Caribbean Sea, the new Eclipse at Half Moon is a celebration of authentic Jamaican culture. The resort features 57 new villas, a stunning infinity-edge pool, and a private beachfront with a natural swimming cove. Surrounded by lush, tropical gardens, the villas offer maximum flexibility for families or small groups, butler services, large great room, indoor/outdoor showers, living and dining terraces, with incredible ocean views.
