Operators mark their presence at WTM Latin America 2022

With more than 30 companies already confirmed, the Tour Operators Area has been consolidated

Having been conceived with the objective of becoming a model for a new direct relationship with operators and not just another space in the show, the Tour Operators Area has grown dramatically with every edition of WTM Latin America. More than 30 companies have already confirmed they will be at WTM Latin America 2022, which will be held between 5 and 7 April in the blue and white pavilions of Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.

“We’re celebrating the fact that the Tour Operators Area is a benchmark in our event. It’s a way of bringing together the main operators that work with outbound tourism and strengthening the dynamics of tourism in the market. This area is thought of as being an inclusive and standardized space that makes it possible for different companies that are united by a single objective to take part”, says Bianca Pizzolito, Commercial Manager, WTM Latin America.

The event is maintaining its position and commitment to tour operators. “In addition to offering this connection platform, an important part of our work is connecting operators with Brazilian travel agents. To do so we have our Agent on the Road Programme, and this year we’re expecting to welcome some 550 travel agents from all over the country”, Bianca says.

The Tour Operators Area has so far confirmed that more than 30 Brazilian operators and cruise companies will be present: Abreutur, Azul Viagens, Bancorbrás, Beds Online, Best Buy, Century Travel e Turismo, Costa Cruzeiros, CVC Corp, Discover Cruises, Diversa Turismo, Domundo Operdora, E-HTL, Europlus, FRT Operadora, Grou Turismo, HotelDO Brasil, Lusanova, MG3 Operadora e Turismo, Newmon Travel & Conventions Operadora de Turismo, Norwegian Cruise Line Agência de Viagens Ltda., Nova Pasárgada, Orinter Tour & Travel, Outsider Turismo Ltda., Personal Brasil Turismo, RXSP Viagens e Turismo, Schultz Operadora, TBO Holidays, Travel.com Viagens e Turismo, and Viagens Promo.

Located in the centre of the International Pavilion, among the highlights of the Tour Operators Area is its focus on improving the experience of travel agents, which will find Brazilian operators gathered together all in one place. “We can’t ignore all the knowledge we have of the market and the challenges these companies have faced over the last two years. That’s why we’ve kept the same commercial strategy, and we’re still offering operators the best possible conditions”, concludes Bianca.

Registration is free and will need to be done before arriving at the pavilions. “This is yet another security measure that we’re taking, the aim being, among other things, to reduce the flow of people at the entrance to the event”, says Thaís Del Ben, Marketing Manager, WTM Latin America.

Registration for WTM Latin America 2022 is already open, and entry will be by prior registration only and presentation of proof of full vaccination. All health protocols have been adopted and are available on the site.
