WTM Latin America reinforces the leading role of travel agents

The Agente na Estrada (Agent on the Road) program expects the participation of 500 travel agents from all over Brazil, connecting training, networking, and business generation

Agente na Estrada arrives at the 2026 edition of WTM Latin America consolidated as one of the most relevant training and networking programs at the event, promoting the participation of travel agents from different regions of Brazil in Latin America’s leading B2B tourism event. The initiative maintains its central focus on expanding these professionals’ access to content, qualified networking, and business opportunities generated by the fair, which will be held between April 14 and 16, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.

The program preserves its structure, participation criteria, and principles, while deepening its strategic view of the agent’s experience within WTM Latin America. The proposal continues to be to provide complete immersion in the event, connecting travel agents to operators, destinations, hotel chains, mobility companies, and service and technology providers, in an environment designed to stimulate qualified exchanges.

Bianca Pizzolito, Event Leader at WTM Latin America, emphasizes that Agente na Estrada is a proprietary program, consolidated and designed to facilitate the strategic use of the fair, allowing agents to have structured access to content, exhibitors, and connections that effectively impact their day-to-day business. “Training is a central premise of WTM Latin America. Travel agents play a strategic role in the tourism chain, and Agente na Estrada was created precisely to offer access to knowledge, relevant content, and qualified connections that strengthen their performance in the market. Investing in these professionals is investing in the quality of tourism as a whole,” she points out.

The participation criteria for 2026 remain the same as in the previous edition, prioritizing travel agents with an active CNPJ (Corporate Taxpayer ID) for more than five years, regular registration with Cadastur, and a proven relationship with operators and suppliers in the market. “It is also mandatory to follow the official event schedule and schedule meetings with exhibitors through the WTM platform,” points out Virgínia Marques, Marketing Manager at WTM Latin America.

Among the benefits maintained are logistical support, easy access to the event, and participation in exclusive meetings and activities, as well as the possibility of expanding the product portfolio, learning about new launches, and strengthening commercial relationships with strategic players in the sector. “Throughout the fair, agents have direct contact with trends, new business models, and opportunities that strengthen their performance in the market,” reinforces Virgínia.

Registration for Agente na Estrada 2026 will soon be available on the official WTM Latin America website. Places are limited to 500 participants and the expectation is to repeat the engagement seen in previous editions, bringing together agents from different states and regions of the country.

WTM Latin America will take place between April 14 and 16, 2026, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.
