Business meetings will be scheduled by the smart system and count with a concierge dedicated to the meeting effectiveness

São Paulo, June 05th 2021 – WTM Latin America Virtual, the main event in the tourism industry aimed at the B2B public in Latin America, presents the functionalities of the platform that will host the meeting in 2021. At least 8 thousand participants are expected among August 10th, 11th and 12th, in a practical and interactive environment they will be able to schedule meetings, check out exclusive contents and networking.

The meeting scheduling functionality will be available as of July 12th for the exhibitors and on July 19th for the buyers and travel agents and as of July 26 the scheduling will be available for all professionals accredited for the event.

One of the main differentials of the platform is the concierge service that is going to be offered. The WTM Latin America marketing manager, Thaís Del Ben, explains that for exhibitors and visitors have a high rate of effectiveness in meetings, the concierge service will closely monitor these activities. “The focus of our event is to generate lead and business meetings so that the industry can meet again and promote the good experiences and opportunities. The concierge will monitor the both the meetings scheduled and ongoing, in case one of the parties find troubles to connect itself and our team can assist to solve the problem”, she states.

The artificial intelligence of the platform also enables that, according to the enrollment made by the participant, the platform recommends exhibitors and preferred content, making easy the surfing and meeting of interests.

So that the schedules can flow efficiently and quickly, the logic is a little different from what we’ve seen in other virtual events. The interested professional submits a meeting request and the receptor of this request shall decide the day and time of their meeting. The system crosschecks the schedules and shows to receptor the availability of both professionals. Once decided, it is scheduled.  The one who scheduled the meeting will not be required to reconfirm the meeting. In addition to accept, the meetings can also be rescheduled or canceled.

“The first and most important steps for the participants in the platform are: fulfill their profile and inform on the schedule, the times they are not available, so the system depends on that to suggest to the receptor the date and time for a meeting”, state Thaís.

During the meeting it is possible to invite up to five people to participate of the meeting, in addition to share the business card, send files and share the screen in order to mirror the supporting materials to all participants.

It is also possible to follow up all meetings scheduled, time available and unavailable, contacts progress through an intuitive and practical dashboard, showing, inclusively, details of time zones, once the event will meet participants all over the world.
