Luciane Leite emphasises the “Leaders’ Meeting” agenda with opinion-makers at two events in Sao Paulo
Executive Luciane Leite, director of WTM Latin America, is continuing with her busy schedule of appointments. During the week Luciane attended industry events when she visited the Hiper Feirão Flytour and Equipotel, the main show in the hospitality and spas sector in Latin America, organised by Reed Exhibitions.
According to Luciane, it is important to assess the market and understand where the tourism segment and its related chain are headed. Therefore, accompanying events and monitoring trends is fundamental when it comes to generating new insights and creating possibilities. “The shows and events industry is constantly changing. We always try to attend them, visiting and interacting with stakeholders in order to analyse the market more comprehensively. We’re able to understand the various perspectives from them and provide our priority audiences with smart solutions”, the executive explained.
“Our visit to the event arranged by Flytour led to an interpretation of the behaviour of the end consumer and also provided us with a valuable opportunity to find and rediscover partners, and create new relationships and prospects”, Luciane said. Aimed at the B2C public, Hiper Feirão Flytour is an event that brings together hundreds of travel agencies, hotels, resorts, destinations, airlines and various other brands of Brazilian and international tourism.
At Equipotel, on the other hand, an event aimed at the owners and managers of hotel enterprises, which runs from September 18 to 21, and features what’s new in solutions, products and services for the hospitality trade, the executive was at the opening ceremony where she met Guilherme Paulus, a member of the National Tourism Council, Toni Sando, CEO of the São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Orlando de Souza, President of the FOHB (Forum of Hotel Operators of Brazil).
After the ceremony, Luciane visited the show to get to know the exhibitors better and talk to WTM Latin America’s partners. “We’re working with benchmarking all the time. For WTM Latin America, this never-ending process of strengthening relationships with our partners and analysing the market to increase and propose new ideas and solutions for our event is fundamental”, concluded Luciane.
