Las Vegas is well-known for its nightlife and entertainment, but authorities are now seeing a big increase in the number of visitors coming to Nevada for a variety of sporting events professional, collegiate and amateur.

Coming in 2018 is a United Soccer League (USL) expansion team and the Vegas Golden Knights, the newest NHL expansion team, who will make their home at the recently opened T-Mobile Arena this season.

Further ahead a domed, 65,000-seat football stadium will host the Raiders NFL team who are moving from Oakland to Las Vegas for the 2020 season.

By then, the Las Vegas skyline will have evolved, with new and rebranded offerings from

MGM Resorts International – rebranding Monte Carlo Resort and Casino to create two distinct hotel experiences – and the 3,500-room 30 restaurants Resorts World Las Vegas complex adding three towers from which to view The Strip.

As the syline changes, so does Las Vegas’ nightlife. New in town is the latest incarnation of Gordon Ramsey’s HELLS KITCHEN restaurant. Located at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and designed by Jeffrey Beers International, his fifth eaterie in town is said to be an experiential and immersive destination restaurant based around the global TV show.

Visitors to the are just a quick drive from stunning scenery and a myriad of outdoor recreational opportunities. Red Rock Canyon, 15 miles west of Las Vegas, is a popular destination for hikers, bikers, joggers and rock climbers. Lake Mead has more than 550 miles of shoreline, offering outdoor enthusiasts year-round opportunities for swimming, water skiing, camping, boating, fishing, tours and cruises.
