Hotel distribution technology specialist SHR is adding new features to its flagship Windsurfer CRS Enterprise and Essentials products.

One new aspect is the ability for hotels to assign policy by channel, in effect allowing hotels to have a different cancellation policy between their brand dotcom and a GDS.

It is also adding a new guest report feature for hotels or chains to get deeper insight into guest profiles.

Elsewhere, subscribers to its booking engine product have another distribution option thanks to an integration with Reserve Direct, a destination-based OTA with 2.5 million registered users.
