Bermuda’s resort renovations pave the way for growing traveller demand

Rolex SailGP Championship and Newport to Bermuda Race – Considered as one of the fastest growing sports worldwide, sailing is woven into the Fabric of Bermuda. SailGP will host a tournament at Bermuda’s Great Sound, known for its stunning viewpoints, from 9th – 10th May 2026 as part of the Rolex SailGP Championship. The Butterfield Bermuda Championship 2025 – Held at Bermuda’s picturesque Port Royal Golf Course each year, showcasing a stunning backdrop of turquoise waters and lush landscapes, golf lovers will relish in this key PGA Tour event whilst visiting the island. Attracting a diverse field of professional golfers vying for a coveted title, this year’s event takes place from 13th – 16th November, and promises a thrilling competition. Cup Match 2026
Marking Bermuda’s biggest holiday weekend, the island adores this annual two-day cricket bonanza. As a fierce rivalry plays out on the pitch between Somerset Cricket Club and St. George’s Cricket Club from 30th – 31st July, the entire country also unites in celebration of Emancipation Day and Mary Prince Day.
