Pulse Hotels & Resorts Unveil Two Landmark Launches – Eri Maldives and The Coral Residences at Kandima

Pulse Hotels & Resorts is entering a bold new chapter in Maldivian hospitality with the announcement of two landmark developments: Eri Maldives, opening 1 November 2025, and The Coral Residences at Kandima, launching in Q2 2026.

New Launches in the Horizon

Eri Maldives: An eco-chic lifestyle resort located on the North Malé Atoll, just a 45-minutes speedboat journey from Valena International Airport, offering an authentic Maldivian escape, blending sustainable lifestyle, cultural richness, and wellness-focused experiences.

The Coral Residences at Kandima: A branded residential development on the three-kilometre Kandima Island, combining private ownership with five-star amenities and a Pulse-managed rental programme, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle offering in the Maldives perfectly suited to large family and friend groups.

Pulse’s Expanding Portfolio

Pulse Hotels & Resorts continues to shape the future of Maldivian tourism through its growing portfolio of distinct resort destinations. From the active lifestyle energy of Kandima Maldives (est. 2017), to the ultra-luxury at The Nautilus Maldives (est. 2019), and the community-driven all-inclusive concept at Nova Maldives (est. 2022), each property reflects a unique facet of the Group’s vision. The upcoming Eri Maldives (Nov 2025) and The Coral Residences at Kandima (Q2 2026) will extend the trajectory – introducing next-generation luxury and branded residential living designed for tomorrow’s traveller.

Pulse Celebrates the Launch of Eri Maldives this 1 November 2025

Set on an intimate natural island in North Malé Atoll, Eri Maldives opens its doors on 1 November 2025. With rich marine life in its house reef and surrounding crystal-clear waters, Eri offers travellers a coveted spot, removing the need for long transfers to encounter rays, sharks, turtles and more. Rooted in Maldivian culture and guided by sustainable living, Eri offers 76 thoughtfully designed beachside villas with private terraces, and ocean views suited to couples and families. From casual all-day dining, to elevated private beach experiences, rates start from £234 per night, bringing laidback luxury, vibrant social spaces, and authentic natural encounters at an affordable price point.

Kandima Maldives & Nova Maldives: Innovation in Action

Pulse’s flagship resort, Kandima Maldives, continues to redefine island travel for all ages. Following the successful launch of Fast Track last autumn, the Maldives’ first and longest oceanside asphalt E-Go-Kart circuit, the resort introduced PlaySpace this summer, a vibrant, meticulously-designed entertainment hub for all ages, featuring bowling, karaoke, VR gaming, escape rooms, retro arcade games and more.

This September saw Nova Maldives’ third anniversary and Solo Traveller Month, which the island resort has established as a recurring annual programme, returning in July 2026. The solo-specific offering is designed to meet growing demand for independent travel experiences, and offering trade partners a fresh opportunity to engage solo travellers with curated, connection-driven stays.

These consecutive launches reflect Pulse’s long-term vision to evolve the Maldives in step with its guests – transforming the destination from a traditional luxury and honeymoon enclave into one that embraces immersive, multigenerational travel. As traveller behaviours and expectations continue to shift, Pulse remains committed to adapting its offerings in response to emerging trends and guest feedback, ensuring its resorts remain relevant, inclusive, and future-ready.
