Peru promotes historic trail

PromPerú, the official tourism board for Peru, will return to World Travel Market London 2015 to step up promotional activities for a new walking route.

The trail is part of the famous Moche Route in northern Peru and enables visitors to explore the El Brujo archaeological complex.

The site hit the headlines in 2006 with the discovery of the Lady of Cao, a female Moche mummy, found with ceremonial items, including weapons and jewellery.

Nearby, visitors can also explore Chan Chan, one of the most significant archeological sites in Peru, with decorative walls featuring geometrical patterns, fish and birds.
