Training the trade at Qatar stand

Qatar Tourism Authority will promote its online training programme Tawash during World Travel Market London 2015.

The programme is designed to build awareness and educate the international travel trade and travel agents about Qatar and its tourist attractions.

British tourist numbers are continuing to grow steadily, with more than 135,000 arrivals in 2014.

The QTA aims to attract 151,000 UK visitors by 2018, by highlighting the country’s rolling desert dunes, historic forts, shops and sightseeing opportunities.

The tourism board will also publicise Qatar’s wide range of accommodation and sporting activities.
