How to make the most of Travel Forward Virtual

How to make the most of Travel Forward Virtual

Last month we announced that Travel Forward would be a fully virtual event in November. One of the questions we were frequently asked was ‘how will the virtual event compare to the physical Travel Forward event?’

We’re excited to be able to offer everything you would usually expect from us in virtual form. From insightful tech sessions, to the opportunity to meet with people ‘face-to-face’, read on to find out how you can make the most of your Travel Forward Virtual experience from the 9-11th November

Plan your time

We have 25+ conference sessions planned for Travel Forward Virtual attendees. Your free registration will just give you access to the Travel Forward content, so is perfect for those of you who only have an interest in learning about the latest travel tech innovations and developments.

Our sessions will cover topics such as tech-based approaches to support the recovery of travel, how AI can be used to improve the customer experience and how you can use social media to drive bookings.

Attending the conference sessions that interest you is easy on our virtual platform. Once you have completed your registration and filled out your profile, you can customise your diary with the sessions you are most interested in joining. This will ensure you don’t miss anything.

Attend conference sessions

Our conference programme for Travel Forward Virtual packs a punch, and focuses on how you can recover, rebuild and innovate.

During these sessions you will be able to ask the speakers questions via our platform. All you will have to do is type your questions in and they will be answered at the end of each session.

Our virtual platform allows you to dip in and out of the sessions you are most interested in. You’ll be able to see which sessions are live at any time during the event, so if you want to switch sessions you can easily do it with the click of a button.

Session clash? You can also watch each session on demand during the event, so if you can’t tune in live you won’t miss out.

If you’re not sure where to start, we recommend attending Clouds on the horizon for travel where Matt Parker,  Chief Executive of Babble Cloud, will be discussing how cloud technologies are helping travel companies improve efficiency, flexibility and customer loyalty.

Booking.com and Expedia Group Media Solutions will also both be taking to the virtual stage to discuss improving the passenger experience and how marketing technology can help advertisers pre-empt and prepare for the new traveller.

Organise one-to-one meetings

Meeting face-to-face has been near impossible this year. Therefore, we are thrilled to be facilitating meetings at Travel Forward Virtual. While your meetings may be through a screen, the video element will allow you to connect with the right exhibitors where you can also share video, imagery and presentations with them.

As a trade visitor, you can register for FREE and get access to this highly valuable feature. Your ticket will allow you to organise pre-scheduled meetings with exhibitors for up to 30 minutes at a time.

We know connecting with the right people is important, especially during this time of uncertainty. We hope this feature will help you to meet with the right people for your business.

We also have a VIP Buyer programme available, so if you are a buyer make sure you apply to this to ensure you get the most out of your Travel Forward experience.

Find relevant business contacts

We know there has been a lot of change within the travel industry, and we hope the platform will help you to find and re-connect with the most relevant people for your business goals.

Once you have completed your profile, the platform will recommend the best business contacts for you meaning finding the right contacts and booking meetings is easy and stress-free.

Rather than spending hours searching for the best person to talk to, Travel Forward Virtual will allow you to quickly find your lost connections and rebuild your contacts.

We look forward to welcoming you at Travel Forward Virtual, and hope this guide has helped you to ensure you have the best time at our event. Please do let us know if you have any questions below.
