WTM Virtual Destination Briefing is the perfect opportunity to pitch to a captivate audience

Countries from all four corners of the globe are taking advantage of an exciting opportunity at WTM Virtual to showcase what they have to offer to a captivate audience.

Indonesia, the Philippines, the Balearics, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Poland and Costa Rica are among forward-thinking regions that have already signed up to hold a Destination Briefing at WTM Virtual and are currently fine-tuning the message they’ll be sending out to the world when WTM Virtual opens next week.

Each Destination Briefing will last 30 minutes and will feature in the Virtual Event Programme.

To increase awareness among key, qualified buyers, destination branding will be displayed; the Destination Briefing will be promoted on the official WTM social media pages and the Briefing will also feature on the WTM Global Hub, to be viewed on-demand after the event.

WTM Virtual Senior Exhibition Director Simon Press said:

“The WTM Virtual Destination Briefings are the perfect opportunity for countries, regions or resorts to get their message out to a captive audience.

“Not only will individual Destination Briefing sessions take place at a specific time – which will be promoted via our wide-ranging channels – they will also be available to view after the event on the WTM Global Hub – ensuring maximum exposure at this crucial time.

“It’s up to individual destinations to choose the message they want to share with the global buyers on their Destination Briefing.

“The Destination Briefing at WTM Virtual is the perfect vehicle to get the message out there that regions are ready to welcome visitors when the world reopens for travel and tourism.”

Examples of Destination Briefing topics include Indonesia’s InDOnesiaCARE/I DO CARE campaign for cleanliness as it makes preparations to welcome visitors back; tourism ministers and tourist board managers from the Balearic Islands will outline the latest tourism developments in the archipelago in their Destination Update; the Saudi Tourism Authority will host a session entitled ‘Saudi – Journey in Arabia’, while Costa Rica will remind people why it is so popular for adventure, relaxation, romance and exploration.
