Korean Air will once again be exhibiting at World Travel Market and will be located on the large Korean Tourism Office (KTO) stand S9-300.
Korean Air, the national airline of South Korea, will be promoting its destinations, services, and product to the travel industry at WTM and celebrating the resumption of nearly all flights and frequencies following the pandemic travel disruption.
The busy London Heathrow – Incheon Seoul route, has resumed its daily flights between the two capital cities. Historically a route most popular with business travellers, these days South Korea is growing in popularity as a holiday destination, due to the interest in South Korean culture – cuisine, art, fashion, and K-pop music.
Korean Air offers extensive connectivity linking 36 cities across Asia through its hub at Incheon Airport. An easy connection programme in Seoul can take travellers onwards to Australia and New Zealand; Seoul is around halfway between the UK to Australia, making it a very convenient option to break the long journey for a few days if time allows. The flights to Sydney are operating daily, and flights to Brisbane and Auckland will be back up to daily in November.
Korean Air comes to WTM with news of its excellent services, including upgrades to its inflight meals and wine selection.
The flag carrier collaborated with Marc Almert, who was named “World’s Best Sommelier 2019” by the International Sommelier Association, the airline presented 52 newly selected inflight wines in October last year, these wines will be introduced over four quarters, with three months of service for each.
The selection includes seven vegan-friendly wines, in keeping with the recently introduced special inflight vegan menu inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Korean temple food.
The Korean Air Sales team will be available at WTM to provide information to the travel trade and answer any questions that attendees may have.
