Travel Forward presents strong content with experts from the technology area

The event taking place on the first day of WTM Latin America features initiatives in the travel and hospitality sector

On 2 April, WTM Latin America, which is taking place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, launches the Travel Forward event, which presents a full day of seminars and conferences on the future of technology in the travel and hospitality sector. The agenda features a programme of content with the participation of major industry experts. The professionals taking part are from companies that have confirmed their attendance, such a Facebook, Sabre, Kayak Brazil, Movida, Oracle, and others who will feature in the programme that will take place in the Travel Forward Theatre, which is being sponsored by Uber for Business.

The event is coming to Latin America after its successful launch at WTM London 2018 in November last year. WTM Latin America’s marketing manager, Thais Del Ben, says that the various technological applications for the tourism and travel segment will make the segment more agile, smart and practical. “Technology enables processes to be improved, helps with decision making and allows behaviour and consumption trends to be quickly known and understood. As a result the market can be constantly reinvented,” says the executive.

The programme has conferences that help participants rethink the question: “How can digital technologies make Latin America an experience destination for travellers and tourists?”. See below the topics and speakers.
