Polish tourist bosses showcase hidden gems

The Polish Tourism Organisation is highlighting alternative activities in Poland’s most famous cities, such as Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław and Łódź.

The new marketing focus will promote lesser-known attractions such as Warsaw’s Neon Museum and gnome hunting in Wroclaw – seeking out the city’s 300 gnome statues.

Other new promotional campaigns in 2020 will showcase Polish cuisine, water sports and cycling.

Visitors to the Poland stand can find out about activities ranging from kayaking and kite-surfing to biking along Poland’s beaches on the EuroVelo Baltic Sea cycle route.

Cultural highlights for 2020 include the 210th anniversary of musician Frederic Chopin, which will be celebrated with a programme of events and new tours.

New openings include the five-star Nobu Hotel in Warsaw, which will be opened by Hollywood actor Robert De Niro in early 2020.

The Polish Tourism Organisation will spread the message about its new marketing campaigns at trade workshops in the UK and Ireland in 2020.
